Navigram created a drawing tool to enable sales representatives to configure Kewlox shelving systems in a minimum of time.
The product contains the full range of Kewlox and Kewlox Pro shelving solutions. All products are fully configurable.
The result is better communication and a reduction of cost for making proposals.
The product can be used offline and online.

Requirement
Kewlox asked Navigram to create a tool to configure each possible combination of their shelving system in a minimum of time and represent the result in 3D. An important requirement was that the tool could be integrated in the website at a later stage.
Solution
With these objects every combination can be created
Navigram created two shelve objects with a userinterface allowing the user to drag an element into a room and fully configure it. Variables were: number of columns, number of units per column, height and width and depth for each unit. Furthermore each individual unit can be specified in terms of material (glass, wood, etc), color (a predefined collection of colors), grips, etc. Each unit can have doors or can be open.
Userinterface
Logical rules (like minimum width for units with doors) are automatically tested for and applied.
The user can modify the design at any stage, so if the customer changes his mind about a certain aspect, the user will never have to start all over again.
Configuration of the objects
To visualize the object in an environment, a catalog of general objects was included, like walls, doors, colors, furniture and accessoires. After finishing the design the model can be saved and printed.
