VT Wonen Planner

Together with VT Wonen, a leading Dutch magazine in interior decoration (Sanoma publishers), Navigram publishes an online 3d Planner on their website. Visitors can plan their interior online, using the objects, colours and materials made available in the publication. Users can also save and print their plans.

The catalogues contain generic furniture and manufacturer specific furniture and some objects can be ordered online. The object libraries are evolving continuously and the look and feel of the Planner matches the VT Wonen concept.

For suppliers of furniture, paint, floor covering and other interior products, this Planner is an attractive platform to promote their products. Users can see the products in the context of their own room plan and all variations of a product can be shown. Not only simple variations (like the fabric on a couch, the colour of a chair, the pattern of a carpet), but also fully configurable systems can be included (like shelving systems with different dimensions and options).

The following images give a first impression of the possibilities:

The start screen...

Change room dimensions and shape...

It is possible to switch between 2d and 3d at any time. Also in 3d one can drop and move objects in the room.

View in 3d...

A simple user interface in which the user can define a room by just dragging the walls and dropping windows and doors.

Add doors and windows...

At the bottom there is room for displaying catalogues of objects. These catalogues grow over time. Objects can be dragged from the catalogue into the room.

Category selection, object catalogues and property pages...

Choose furniture...

Click a wall and choose from sponsored colours...

Place an object from a catalogue, for example a lamp...

And order the product...

Select wall decoration from an online gallery...

Objects have their own property pages, ranging from simple (like a choice of carpets when one clicks the floor) up to very complex functionality (configuring and parametrizing complete furniture systems). In a few clicks one can customize the image and walk around through the result.

Place a shelving system...

And configure it to fit your needs...

Finally, one can change the appearance by adding lights, curtains, etc. to the model. The result can be saved, printed and modified again.
